I ha...These are all great! Thank you so so much! :)
I have all my visitors lined up with different foods and snacks they are responsible for bringing me lol, I LOVE snacks! ;)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00012272863153996215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3151689291592180866.post-43916665456091298782015-09-02T11:23:07.186-04:002015-09-02T11:23:07.186-04:00Definitely use the lanolin from the first feeding ...Definitely use the lanolin from the first feeding - it is a toe-curling pain at first and the lanolin helps your nipples heal a little faster. (And definitely meet with the hospitals LC for help!) Also - I just read this the other day, put the lanolin on your nipples right before you shower. It helps. The first time I showered, that sucker hurt!
The mesh undies the hospital gives you are amazing. Totally awful looking but comfortable and you don't care if they get messy because you throw them away. Get some to take home!

Bring some snacks, not much... but I'm glad I had a bag of plain goldfish to snack on in the middle of the night when I was up breastfeeding and hungry.
I didn't leak milk (usually doesn't come in for a few days) so I didn't use the breast pads BUT I realized after that the lanolin is greasy and stains clothes so even if you're not leaking, use the pads if you don't want to stain your bras/tanks (I read that dish soap helps to get the stains out though.. just didn't try it yet because the dress I got stained is old anyways and I didn't care)

If I think of anything else I'll let you know!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11474876677657071298noreply@blogger.com
