Hi there! My name is Laura, it's so nice to meet you. ☺

Here's a little about me:
I’m wife to my college sweetheart Jaime,
Mom to our new baby girl Emma,
our hedgehog Dexter and
our crazy doggies Zoey and Cooper.

I am a 2nd grade teacher to all boys (yup, only boys), and I tutor students privately.
I also make hand crafted, personalized gifts for all kinds of special occasions.

I enjoy traveling and laying out, soaking up the sun.
I love scary movies, Netflix is my jam.
I like to dance, drink Coca Cola and eat junk food.

I'm a picture taker, personalized items maker, scrapbook lover and a terrible housekeeper.

Here's my story:

I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

My parents, my brother and I moved to the US when I was 10 years old.

I had known my husband through mutual friends,

but we "officially met" when we started working together at a restaurant.

After being best friends for 2 years, and dating on and off for 6 months,

we made our relationship official in September 2007.

We dated for 6 years, then got engaged in August 2013.

We bought our first home in December 2013, and were married by March 2014.

Now 8 years after our story started, we are expecting our first little one in September 2015!

We are proud parents of our Baby Girl Emma Elizabeth who arrived on September 19th 2015.
