Baby Registry

So yesterday I went to register for baby girl and it was harder than I thought!
I'm still adding and removing items online since I keep changing my mind, who knows what it will look like by the time the Baby Shower invites go out, haha!
I did a lot of research on baby items and while most of my registry items ended up being "#1 Best Sellers" or "Baby Registry Favorites" (not on purpose), there were some things that I chose based on reviews from other moms and by seeing them in person at the store.
I decided to put together some of my favorite registry items and talk about them.
I registered at Buy Buy Baby and Amazon.

From Top to Bottom, Left to Right:

JJ Cole Diaper and Wipes Caddy in Pink- I chose this because not only is it cute, and pink (most of my nursery accents will be pink and some gray as well) I feel like if I have everything organized in there, it will be so easy to move it from room to room. Say baby girl needs a diaper change and we are in the living room watching a movie, we can just bring the caddy over, and diapers, wipes and cream will be there!
Crib Wedge- I saw this at the store and when I talked to some moms about it, a crib wedge seemed like a good accessory for baby. It's slightly raised, and it elevates the baby's head for better breathing and digestion. I'll try it!
HALO Sleep Sack- So since babies aren't supposed to have blankets, sleep sacks sound ideal! Everyone seems to know about the HALO Sleep sacks and it was a registry favorite. I put a cotton one and a fleece one in my registry. Living in South Florida, I feel like fleece would be too warm for regular nights, but there are nights in the winter where the temperature does drop, and baby girl will only be a few months old when winter comes this year.
Aden + Anais Swaddles- There are so many cute colors and patterns to choose from, and with it being the original muslin swaddles, I don't think you can go wrong with Aden + Anais. They have certain patterns which can be found on bed sheets, blankets, sleep sacks, etc, so if you like to match, these are great! I was so excited when I found some Aden + Anais items at a TJ Maxx!!! Look around, you'll be surprised at what brands you can find in those types of stores!
JJ Cole Hamper in Pink- Now pay attention to the dimensions of this hamper if you're looking it up online, they sound kind of small so I passed on putting it only registry, but when I went to the store, it was a great size, and super cute (matches the caddy) so I decided on wanting it!
HALO Bassinet- I fell in love with this bassinet online, and when I saw it in person I liked it even more! It's so cool and modern looking (which I'm loving all modern looking things, as you'll see!) it's definitely a splurge for a bassinet, but I think I'll get my money's worth!
Crane Humidifier- I've been wanting to get this humidifier for myself! During my first trimester I was waking up in the middle of the night with a stuffy nose, and all I wanted was a humidifier. I ended up buying myself a smaller one, but for baby I want this one. I ended up choosing the white color (even though I'm DYING for the pink one) because I plan on using it with the next baby too (like most of my baby things) and hopefully I'll be having a boy next!!
Dekor Diaper Disposal- I had never heard of this brand before, but I have experience with the Diaper Genie (I was a preschool teacher for 6 years) and I never loved it! I also have a lot of mommy friends who did not like it at all. I saw it in person, it had a cool, sleek look to it, and great reviews.

From Top to Bottom, Left to Right:

Baby Jogger City Select- Ok, I know, super expensive reviews, but not only are moms RAVING online about their Baby Jogger, a couple of my mom friends love theirs too! Here's the thing, I want another baby pretty soon after baby girl comes, my brother and I are super close in age and I want the same for my kids, and with this stroller all you have to do is buy an extra seat and clip it on! No need to buy a double stroller (which I don't love) and it's so cool looking! I couldn't stop playing with it at the store, and I swear now every stroller I see is a Baby Jogger! It's haunting me! Haha.
Maxi-Cosi Car Seat- So while at the store looking at car seats, I didn't even read the brand before I fell in love with this car seat! Not only is it all black, which I want, not only because I can use it with a girl or boy, but I'm not a fan of weird colored baby gear.. I'm the weird one, but really, I like the all black and it was soon soft!
Lamb Mat- Ok, so this is totally not baby "gear" but how stinking cute is this little lamb mat?! I'm OBSESSED and I just want to buy it right now and cuddle it till baby comes! It's so cute, and so soft and so sweet looking! And I plan on taking lots of adorable pics of baby girl laying on it!
Grace Pack N Play- I really like that it can be used with infants and toddlers with that removable bassinet on the top. It will make for traveling with baby easy, since she will be able to sleep in it for months and months to come. I chose this specific color in the picture, also link, and apparently it's a Buy Buy Baby exclusive color, but it's cute for both genders, and I just love stars!
Mama Roo- Another splurge, but this thing is like from the future! Instead of a swing and a bouncer, this thing does it all! Plus, my house is kinda small, and the less baby things I have taking up space, the better! Click the link and watch the video, then go to the store and see it! They have one on display, and you can play with it. I wish it came in adult size because I could totes see myself taking naps on it all day every day. Too cool.
Fisher-Price Luv U Zoo Jumperoo- So cute, so fun! Best seller too. I've watched the video of the bouncing baby a hundred times. And it beats buying one of those jumpers you click on the door frames. I don't think I would trust one of those, God forbid it unclips and baby falls.. I don't even want to think about it lol!

From Top to Bottom, Left to Right:

Boon High Chair- So sadly I can't find the pink on white in stock anywhere! Buuuuut! They sell the seat and tray cover separately, woo hoo! So if you're having a baby girl and you want the pink accessories, they can be found here. The Boon High Chair is so cool looking and so easy to clean! The tray comes out, and so does the seat, the base has wheels so you can move it around. And again, it's super cool looking!
Boppy Pillow- Come on, who doesn't have/want one of these? Haha! I used to use it a lot with the babies at my old preschool, great little feeding accessory. I chose that pattern in the picture, because again, boy or girl, can be used with both! Plus, I'll end up buying extra covers anyways cause spit happens.
Baby Bullet- When I start making food for the baby (I'm already saving recipes) I think this will be a great little tool, I own the original Magic Bullet and I like it a lot!
Bottle Sterilizer- They have a plug-in one too, but I like this microwave one because not only is it cheaper, I feel like it will work faster too when sterilizing, and the power of the microwave will probably make the water hotter than a plug-in one would. Just what I would think.. Lol.
Dr. Brown's Glass Bottles- When I was a baby I used glass bottles, my mom swears by them, and I feel like glass would be cleaner and better than plastic. Also, why Dr. Brown's? Well, like I mentioned a couple of times, I worked at a preschool for years, and I like the Dr. Brown's bottles the best. It has a little straw in there that helps keep the bubbles out, meaning the baby won't be drinking so much air lol. "Proven to help maintain vitamins A, C, and E during bottle feeding, these bottles have positive pressure with no vacuum feeding and help reduce colic, spit-up and gas." That's the description they give!
Dr. Brown's Baby Bottles in Pink- I'm getting plastic bottles as well.
Tommee Tippee Milk Bibs- Ok so one of the things that grosses me out the most is milk inside baby's neck rolls. BARF! It's so gross and it smells and ugh, it's just so nasty! These bibs hug the baby's neck pretty high and keeps that from happening. Ummm buy me 100 of these!
Bumbo 3-in-1- Before I went registry shopping I had never seen this new version of the Bumbo! I like it!
Boon Lawn Drying Rack- Basically what it says, it's a drying rack. And it's so cool! I also put some accessories on my list, not only are they adorable, they keep smaller items, such as pacifiers, up high so it doesn't take space on the rack.
Dr. Brown's Bottle Warmer- I chose this one because it's the same brand as the bottles I want. It will come in handy at 3AM when baby cries and it's dad's turn to feed her. :)
Medela Breast Pump- I researched breast pumps A LOT and this one had the best reviews. Also, a lot of my mommy friends that pump have this machine. Pricy, but the quality is awesome and will probably last me for a couple of years since I plan on breastfeeding all my babies.

Well, that was a lot! I hope I helped some of you who were a little clueless and needing help, like me!
These are the things I liked and chose, and just my opinion, they might not be for everybody, but they are the ones I liked the most! :)
Happy Shopping!!!

It's A........

So ever since I was younger I always thought I would have a son.
For some reason I've always had "I'll have 2 boys and 1 girl" in my head.
So when I got pregnant I was like it's probably going to be a boy, because I KNOW I'm a boy mom, I just KNOW I'm going to have a son.

When I first announced my pregnancy, everyone started telling me that they thought I was having a girl.
Most Old Wives's Tales said girl.
I was like ok, maybe it is a girl!

Then as my bump grew everyone started saying they thought it was a boy.
"You have a boy belly, or you are carrying low and it's usually a boy..."
So my "I'm a boy's mom" thoughts started coming back and I was like ok, maybe it's a boy!

Fast forward to the gender reveal ultrasound.
Yasmin (the tech) is super sweet, she was so confident in what baby was.
She took pictures, made me move to get other poses, kept my secret and did everything perfectly for Jaime and I!
After the scan Jaime and I were talking about it and I told him how I thought it was a boy because she wanted to get so many pictures, so I felt like she was trying to get penis pics, haha, there's really not a better way to say it!
Then Jaime said that maybe she was just trying to get pictures in different angles to make sure that there was nothing there.

Ugh! Seriously! I was so confused! Was it a boy or a girl?!
I would have to wait 4 whole days to find out!

As you can see in my last post, the closer it got to the reveal day the crazier I was getting.
I was SO nervous!
Also, the fact that I had no idea of what my baby could be was bothering me!
How did so many other people have guesses?
How did they all have reasons to why they believed my baby was either a boy or a girl but I was sitting here clueless and getting all these different feelings in my head.
I didn't understand.

I had dreams that it was a girl, twice.
Jaime did too, once.
Then after the ultrasound, that night I kept waking up, switching between genders in my dreams.
First it was a boy, then a girl, then a boy, etc.
The night before the gender reveal I dreamt that it was a boy again.

I made it very clear that I would have been happy with either gender.
Girl or boy, as long as it was healthy, being my first baby, I didn't care.
I plan on having more kids, so I can always try for the opposite sex later, no big deal.

I would be happy with a boy first because then my future daughter (ideally I would have one of each) would have a big brother to take care of her and protect her, and everyone says "boys are easier". Also, I would have a little lover, Mommy's Boy to cuddle with all day.
I would be happy with a girl first because they are so much fun to dress up, and I would love a mini-me, and being a girly girl myself I would have so much fun with the nursery and picking out cute outfits and bows and stuff.

So... With all of that said... Baby Mudrich is a GIRL!

Yes, we are happy! I'm happy, my husband is happy, he told me a boy would have been easy but a girl will be a challenge and so much fun.

I still believe I'm going to have a son, maybe not 2 because in my head it was always like ok, I'll have 2 boys, try for the girl and get her the third time..
Well, I guess the little lady wanted to be first in line so she's coming!!!

Gender Reveal Jitters!

So tomorrow is the big day and I am freaking out!!!!!
I'll finally know if my baby is a boy or a girl.

My hormones are going crazy and my nerves are getting the best of me.
Did any other mamas feel super nervous too?

I don't have a preference.
Honestly.
It's my first baby and as long as it's healthy I'll be one lucky and happy mom.

The fact that I don't have a clue of what my baby's gender could be (will be) is probably making it harder on me because it will be a total surprise, a total shock!

- I'm probably going to cry because of my nerves, and I don't want people to think I'm crying because I'm disappointed with the gender.
- I'm probably going to cry because I'll finally know what I'm having.
- I'm probably going to cry because knowing the gender will make it all even more real.
Not that it hasn't felt real, but you know, my baby won't be an "it" or a "he/she" anymore, it will be my son or my daughter.
- I'm probably going to cry because of how much money I'll be spending the next few months buying this baby everything I've saved on my Etsy and Amazon wishlists haha!

Orrrrrr....

I'm probably not going to cry because the day is just going to come and I'll be too busy and excited to overthink everything like I am right now.

I'm just freaking myself out.

[End Rant]

Gender Reveal Ultrasound

I went in for the Gender Reveal ultrasound today!
No, I don't know what it is! The tech wrote it down, sealed it in an envelope and I'm giving it to the baker first thing tomorrow morning!
Talk about self control!!!!!!!! I have the answer in my purse right now!!!!!!

The top yellow envelope is where Yasmin (the tech - which happens to be my sister-in-law's sister in law) put the ultrasound pics in that say/show if it's a boy or a girl!
The bottom small white envelope is what I'm giving to the baker tomorrow with that index card with the correct box checked.

Apparently baby was putting on a show and it was easy for Yasmin to tell what it was! We barely spoke while she checked, so she didn't give anything away and I didn't ask any questions that might give it away. So either she clearly saw something there, or she clearly didn't see anything at all! I'm happy at how confident she was.

So I honesty honestly honestly have NO IDEA what it is! People think I'm crazy because I don't have a "feeling"! What's wrong with me?!?!?!?! I looked at my baby's face today and all I saw was Ghost Rider! Am I the worst or what?!

But seriously how creepy is this ultrasound picture?! Don't lie!!! I had never seen a baby facing forward like that before! I prefer the sideways cutesy profile pics for sure! Can't believe I'm posting that haha! Can't see what I see? Maybe the picture below will help!

Still, I'm so in love and so excited to FINALLY find out if I'm having a Little Man or a Little Miss!
Is it the 18th yet?!

Week 17

How Far Along: 17 Weeks
Weight Gain: About 8 pounds.
Stretch Marks? Nope!! Please don't ever ever show up!
Maternity Clothes: Yes! I got some maternity jeans and shorts and I'll never go back to regular until this baby is out! Actually, I would wear them on a regular basis, haha!

Sleep: I've actually been sleeping great the last few days! I don't wanna jinx it, but seriously, I go to sleep at night, and only wake up with my alarm the next morning. It's glorious!
Best Moment This Week: I got to hang out with friends I don't usually see that much and it was so fun! I went to dinner and a movie twice, then had a lunch date, then froyo date. I really had a great weekend! I also got to hear the baby's heartbeat again, and it was on "Take Your Child to Work Day" so this super cute little girl got to do it on my belly, she was adorable and nervous. So cute!!!
Worst Moment This Week: I can't say that I've had a worst moment.. :)
Miss Anything: Lunchables! Whatever, judge all you want, I'm a grown adult and I still like Lunchables!!!!!!!!! I walked by them at the grocery store and I wanted to cry.
Movement: Just stretching and pulling. Nothing cool yet.
Cravings: Besides the usual fruit craving, I actually wanted orange juice. I don't like orange juice! So to me, that's like the "weirdest" craving if you wanna call it weird. But seriously, I don't like orange juice at all, but what baby wants, baby gets!
Queasy or Sick: Headaches stilllllll! Like every single day!
Have You Started To Show Yet: Yup!

Gender Prediction: I'll find out this weekend, ahhhh! But honestly, NO! :( Am I already a bad mommy because I haven't gotten that "Mommy Intuition" yet? I seriously have no idea. I guess it's a good thing because I'll be surprised either way? But I don't know, at all. I've had no feelings towards a specific gender. I guess because I honestly don't care and will be happy either way? Maybe that's it!
Labor Signs: No, and I don't want to know what that feels like EVER!
Belly Button In or Out? In. So rounded though, it's weird! I took out my belly ring yesterday for a couple of hours and was so freaked out.

Wedding Rings On or Off? On.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy!
Looking Forward To: Finally finding out the gender! I've been saying this for months now!

Walked by the onions at the grocery store and couldn't resist taking a cheesy picture haha!
Baby is the size of an onion!

27 Facts for 27 Years!

So yesterday was my birthday! Ah! I'm 27. What the heck? How did I get so old?
I know people who are older than me are probably like shut up, you're young, but I'm sure you felt the same way when you were my age!!!
Plus, am I the only one that still feels like a kid?!
Even though I'm 27, a wife, a homeowner and pregnant?
I thought when I got married and had my own place I'd feel like an adult finally, but nope. I really think once I have the baby I'll finally feel like an adult.. Maybe.

So I thought it would be fun to write 27 fun facts about me, but lets see if I can get through them.

  1. I was born and raised in Brazil. I feel like I always have to include this fact because so many people assume my parents are Brazilian but I was born and raised in the US. Nope! I know, I'm super Americanized, I came here when I was 10 years old, I mean, I basically grew up here! But my whole entire family (besides my parents and brother) still live there! And yes, I do still speak and read and write Portuguese fluently, and I do hope my children will at least know how to speak it.
  2. When I was little I wanted to be an actress. Then I decided that I wanted to be a vet. Then I found out I would have to put animals to sleep and I was like no way. So I was like, eh I'll be a teacher like my mom, but I want to be an actress the most. Well, I'm a teacher you guys.
  3. Speaking of being a teacher... I love being a teacher. With all the headaches that come along with it (what job doesn't?) I really truly love it. I get to hang out with a bunch of kids all day, play around, make jokes, laugh with (at) them.. And I also teach them something here and there too! Just kidding! But for real, kids are hilarious! I wish I had a reality show.
  4. I have been with my husband since I was 19 years old. So many people told me "oh, he's just your first love, people usually don't end up with your first love.." Well! It can happen! You can marry your first love! I won't say it's easy when you're super young, people grow up so much, and change sooooo much, but it can definitely happen! Like my friend says "It's about both of you not giving up on the same day."
  5. When I was in middle school I used to tell my best friend that I was going to get married at 25 and have kids at 27.......................... It happened!
  6. I have been getting my nails done non-stop every 2-3 weeks religiously for the last 10 years. I just recently switched from acrylic to that new gel polish that's supposed to last for 2 weeks but I'm still not sure about it. It is much healthier for my nails and baby too, so I think I'll stick with it as long as I can. My nails are getting stronger and stronger so I think that in a few months I'll be happy with them!
  7. I'm pretty crazy about pets! I've always wanted a little dog, a yorkie to be specific and my parents never let me get one, so when I got my own house and got married I was like yes! I can get a puppy now! Well.. My husband never liked dogs so he got me a hedgehog instead for Christmas 2013. I am obsessed with Dexter! He is my little love and he's seriously the sweetest hedgehog you'll ever meet, but let's go over to fun fact #6...
  8. So last summer my friend Fernanda convinced my husband to take us to a puppy store and we ended up walking out with 2 puppies! Ha!!!!!! Zoey is a Malshi which is a Maltese Shihtzu mix and Cooper is a Morkie! Which is a Maltese Yorkie mix. They are only 1 month apart and I call them my twins. They love each other and even though people called me crazy for getting two puppies at once I think it was one of the best decisions I ever made. They keep each other company all day while hubby and I are at work, they cuddle together to sleep, they're each other's best friends. It's so cute.
  9. I cry sometimes thinking about how I might neglect my pets when the baby comes. Not purposefully, I know it's just going to naturally happen, sadly. I'm ashamed to say that it happened to Dexter when we got the pups... We don't necessarily neglet him, what a nasty word, but we definitely have to share his time, when he used to be the only baby! But I'm going to try my hardest to give them ALL as much attention as I can. They're so spoiled, and I think that they're going to be so depressed! My babies!! :(
  10. I LOVE scary movies. They are my all time favorite. Even crappy scary movies I find entertaining haha! I don't know why.. I guess because they always keeping you guessing till the end, unlike other genres which always follow the same plot, people always get a happy ending, everything is always peachy. Not saying that I don't like a happy ending, but with scary movies you never know!
  11. My favorite color is blue. I don't have a specific shade, but lighter blues and brighter blues. Not really a fan of cobalt or royal blue, unless they're clothes. And not too light either like powder blue. Ha.
  12. I love to lay out. I've mentioned this before, but I seriously do. A lot of people might find it boring, it is! But I get such a nice tan, and the warmth of the sun on my skin.. AH!
  13. I love cupcakes but I hate frosting. Yes, I take all the frosting off of my cupcakes, so all those fancy ones with crazy frosting, I lick a little to taste it, then I'm done! So I would rather get a cupcake that has a nice "cake" haha!
  14. I love emojis! OMG and Apple knew it was my birthday yesterday so they released the new batch of emojis, where they added some and you can change the color and race of the people.. So cool! Update your phones people!!!!
  15. I am currently trying to "revamp" my wardrobe. I have so many clothes that I look at now and think "what was I thinking when I bought this?" and I am slowly (but surely) getting rid of so many clothes that have sentimental value to me, like my 30 different colored polos that were so in when I was in high school,.. Yup.
  16. Amazon.com is thebomb.com. I spend way too much money on that website. Don't know what to get me? Amazon gift card is always the right choice! I'm that weirdo at the store, when I find something I want I check the price on Amazon before I buy it, no joke.
  17. I have over 40 pairs of bathing suits. Seriously.
  18. I love to cruise and so far I have been on at least one cruise every year since 2009. I'm slacking this year, but - pregnant.
  19. I love Halloween Horror Nights!!!!! My first time was in 2004, then I didn't go for a while, but I have been going every single year, not missed one since 2007. I can't do the Rush of Fear deal this year because baby will only be 2 weeks old, but I'm definitely going the last weekend of the event. I can't miss it, I'll be so sad!
  20. So yeah, Halloween is definitely my favorite holiday. Hocus Pocus is my jam! I love dressing up, forcing my husband to match me even though he tells me every year "next year we are NOT matching"... I win every year! Can you imagine with a baby now? The possibilities of cool costumes are ENDLESS!! I'm so excited, it's going to be the best Halloween ever!!!
  21. I love decorating my house for every holiday! I just became a homeowner December of 2013 so I still don't have a big collection of decorations, but I'm getting there!
  22. I love/hate to scrapbook. I love it because of the memories, and when I make a cool page I get so proud of myself. I hate it because it's extremely expensive and time consuming. I'm like 3 years behind on my scrapbooking and I need to catch up. I do realize that now there are so many digital options, but nothing beats a homemade super customized scrapbook!
  23. As scared as I am of the responsibility, I really want to have my own business one day. I would love to open up a tutoring center and hire fellow teachers, or turn my little customizing business into something bigger.
  24. I love pictures and photography. I wish I had the money to spend on nice gear and classes. I wouldn't mind if that was my full time job.
  25. When I was in middle/high school I had a pair of "Brazilian pants" in every color. Red, hot pink, light pink, dark blue, light blue, turquoise, beige, black, white, etc........ Hey, they made my butt look GREAT!
  26. I wish I didn't have to do anything with my hair, but I started getting grays when I was around 20-21 years old. So embarrassing! I can't imagine what my hair will look like in 10 years!
  27. Speaking of hair, I had bleach blonde hair for a while! I miss being blonde sometimes but it completely destroyed my hair! My hair hasn't been the same since! :(
Ok, well that was harder than I thought! And I feel like I just threw so many random facts out there for the sake of writing 27 things lol!
If you lasted through the whole post and read anything, I guess now you know plenty of random things about me! Hope you enjoyed it!

Now, what are some of your fun facts? What do we have in common?
Comment below! :)

Week 16

How Far Along: 16 Weeks
Weight Gain: About 5-6 pounds.
Stretch Marks? Nope!
Maternity Clothes: Not yet, but most of my tighter tops are now crop tops lol which is not good! I did go shopping for some new clothes that I'm excited about, that will fit me for a while. I have to go look at maternity clothes though.
Sleep: Fine!
Best Moment This Week: Laying out! A lot! Oh my gosh, I LOVE laying out, it's my favorite thing to do when the weather is beautiful, I finally have a tan and I am so excited! I feel healthier and prettier and just all around much better!
Worst Moment This Week: Headaches, mini nausea sessions, weird feelings in my stomach. This pregnancy thing really takes getting used to!

We went to sushi with my family and I was dying! I wanted it so bad! But I was a good mommy and only ate the cooked stuff.. Rough times.

Have You Started To Show Yet: Permanent bump right here!
Gender Prediction: I think it's either going to be a boy or a girl. Ha.
Labor Signs: No, I'm terrified of labor, I haven't really though about it until I saw a video the other day.. People! Stop posting crazy shit on Facebook! :(
Belly Button In or Out? In.

Amazon's a Baby Registry Welcome Box

So I'm obsessed with Amazon! I've been a prime member for about 4 years and I spend more money on that website than I want to admit!

With that said, I started a baby registry there.
Now, I don't know if that will be my primary baby registry, or if I'll even make a registry anywhere else. Amazon has so many things from so many places, so many different choices, the only thing I'm worried about is people having to pay for shipping to get things for me, and not having the option of going to a store to see them/get them.

So this week I got an email from Amazon saying that for a limited time they were offering their Baby Registry Welcome Box (a $50 value) for free! In the email it said it's for a limited time only, they didn't mention when the offer would end, but to be safe, I would say get on it!!!

Check it out!

So here are the items I got in my box. They seem to vary from other reviews I read online. I've linked the full sized items on Amazon if you'd like to read more about them/purchase them.

Now since my baby isn't here, I can't test out any of the food products or bottle, and I'm also not breastfeeding yet so no use for the pads but all the lotions and shampoo and conditioner smell great!

I had never heard of the Babyganics brand, but it smells so good! I have the chamomile verbena scent, and in the bottle it states that it's non-allergic and it has no parabens, sulfate a, phthalates and etc.

I'm a fan of Burts Bees! I have the Mama Bee Belly Butter and I love that the smell doesn't make me nauseous, especially with this crazy superhero sense of smell I've gained since I've gotten pregnant.

I've used L'Oreal EverStrong Sulfate-Free products before and I liked them, so I'm definitely going to give these samples I got. Thank goodness my hair hasn't been a problem yet, knock on wood!

I'm also familiar with Aquaphor, it's a bit slimy but I like that it hydrates and doesn't have a scent.

And finally for the WaterWipes, let's just say I'm a baby wipe freak! I use it a lot, especially on trips. This one doesn't really have a scent which I like, and it's pretty soft and moist! I also like that it's allergy friendly, since I have sensitive skin on my face and I use baby wipes to remove makeup, whenever I actually wear it, haha. It's pricey though so I don't think I would be purchasing this to use on a daily basis with my baby.

So there's my mini review of the welcome hurry up and create a list so you can get one while supplies last!

* This is NOT a sponsored post. These are all my opinions, and I made this post just to share this deal with fellow mommies to be! *

Announcement Pictures

So I wanted to share the amazing announcement pictures I got from my super talented friend Amanda Martin from Lovelybee Photography.
She will seriously be my photographer for as long as she takes pictures, and I hope it's for a really really long time!

We took the pics when I was only 9 and a half weeks pregnant to use them to announce our baby to our family and close friends, that's why the lack of a bump, haha! But they came out perfect and I love them!

Below are some of my favorites, enjoy!

Gender Reveal

So I'm getting ready for my Gender Reveal Party on April 18th and I can't wait to share pictures with all of you, especially share baby's gender!
Hubby and I are not finding out prior to the party so the 18th cannot come sooner!

I've decided to do the cake reveal, where I'll give the baker the gender sealed in the envelope and she'll dye the cake either pink or blue!

I got some pink and blue candy and I'll be setting up a mini candy bar.
I also got pink and blue tablecloths that I'l be putting up on the wall as a backdrop for a photobooth type of area.
The theme I'm going with is "Little Man or Little Miss?". I bought some paper cups and plates, etc and a banner to use for decoration.

I also made a chalkboard file with Old Wives Tales to display at the party.
I've listed it on my Etsy if anyone is interested, just click the picture and it will link you right to it!

17 more days until we find out.. Little Man or Little Miss?
